Most days will include two pool-based swim sessions. These sessions will be a combination of technique work and fitness 'training'. The overall objective for the week is to focus on particular technical elements of the freestyle/front crawl stroke whilst improving your fitness and conditioning too.
Early in the camp you will be filmed and have a video analysis of your stroke. We will also work out your training paces (because regardless of ability, you need to be able to swim at different levels of intensity).
There will also be workshops and dry-land sessions throughout the week where we aim to arm you swim knowledge you can take home and continue to improve long after camp ends.

Real coaching. Proper sessions. A relaxed atmosphere where you’ll train hard and still enjoy the week.
Adult swimmers and triathletes who want meaningful progress in technique, efficiency, and swim fitness. We group by pace and experience so you’re challenged appropriately and supported throughout.
Coached pool sessions, focused technique blocks, optional skills/classroom sessions, and use of training facilities as specified for each destination. Accommodation board basis and airport transfers vary by camp—see the booking details for your chosen date.
Usually a coached pool session before breakfast (technique + quality sets), recovery/time out late morning, then a second pool session or skills/Mobility block later in the day. Volume and intensity build sensibly during the week so you adapt without getting cooked.
Yes—expect targeted stroke analysis with video (where facilities permit), plus clear, actionable feedback. You’ll know exactly what to change and how to train it into your stroke back home.
We place swimmers into lanes by sustainable pace (CSS/threshold) and stroke competency. Sets are scaled per lane so you hit the right technical focus and aerobic load for your level.
Expect 1–2 sessions per day, typically 3–5km per session depending on lane, goals, and the day’s focus. Volume is adjusted across the week to balance technique quality and fitness development.
Technique first, then fitness built on top. We hard-wire better movement patterns with drill progressions and targeted cues, then load them with appropriate pace work so changes “stick.”
If you’re missing anything, we’ll advise local options or suggest alternatives.
Some camps include open-water skills if conditions and venues allow. If included, we’ll brief safety, sighting, pack skills, and starts—wetsuit use depends on water temp and local rules.
You should comfortably swim front crawl for 100–400m continuous and be happy in a lane-swim environment. If you’re unsure, speak to a coach and we’ll advise the best fit.
No. Lanes are paced and sets are scaled. You’ll get the right challenge without pressure to “keep up” with faster swimmers.
Yes—short, practical mobility/activation blocks for better positions in the water and shoulder health. Nothing gym-heavy: think bands, range, and control.
Lots of athletes travel solo. Standard pricing is usually based on sharing; you can upgrade to single occupancy by purchasing the single supplement option (as well as the standard sharing option) during checkout.
We choose venues close to pools and facilities. Board basis varies by destination (e.g., B&B, half-board). Check your specific camp’s inclusion list when booking.
Sometimes included, sometimes optional—depends on the camp/venue timing. If not included, we’ll advise the best transfer options for your flight times.
You’ll provide medical info on booking and must have travel insurance that covers swim training. Bring any regular meds and let coaches know of shoulder issues, asthma, or ear/sinus history so we can help you manage load.
Please see the current Do3 Terms of Use (7b. Refund Policy - Training Camps) for details on cancellations, deferrals, and transfers. Terms can vary by date and destination.
