Do3, the Midlands based triathlon squad, took advantage of the weekend’s good weather with team members racing at East Leake Triathlon and Battlefield Duathlon in Market Harborough.
After weeks of postponed events, the weather finally relented and gave a window for Do3 members to put their arduous winter training in to full practice and to kick off the squad’s Grand Prix event schedule.

Do3 is set for its best season to date with 8 local athletes achieving confirmed places in National Age Group Teams. And for the first time, Do3 will be running a Grand Prix of multi-sport events with the 5th race in the series set to take place at Southam Triathlon on 29th April.
Dave Knight, commented ‘The triathlon season is starting to get back in to swing and we’ve a team of eager athletes ready to race. Despite the weather being against us for the last few months, the squad has been training for strength and mental agility so that we can secure some podium spots in 2018’.
Do3 is mentored and managed by Dave Knight, one of the UK’s leading triathlon coaches and recently recognised as Coach of the Year at Stratford District Council Sport Awards. The squad is made up of over 200 Midlands based athletes; from triathlon enthusiasts and age group competitors to professional athletes.
