Do3 launches scheme to support up and coming talent

Do3 is pleased to announce that it is launching a new supported athlete scheme. This scheme is intended to provide access to training facilities and performance testing and monitoring services for athletes with high potential. This includes, free access to pool and open water training sessions, INSCYD performance testing and analysis, specialist swim, bike and run training, altitude training and much more.

Our first two supported athletes are:

Robin Hughes (age 21)

! want to see what I'm capable of, my aim for this year is to qualify for next year's European champs in Olympic distance and the aqua bike. After that as far as I can get! Maybe expanding to half distance ironman.
I'm proudest of winning at the Midlands open water 5k. Although it's not my highest level achievement It's my most memorable race. It was the start of alot more to come and got me hooked on open water fairly late in my swimming career.

Charly Marshall (age 16)

I’ve been swimming since a baby and found my sport of triathlon aged 9. I’ve been competing ever since and now race at national level in the Super Series representing the West Midlands. My ambition is to become a professional triathlete in the World Series and one day on the Olympic stage.
My proudest achievement to date is being selected for the Super League enduro triathlon in Jersey last year and finishing in the top 10 amongst British Youth’s best, on an elite course. (An enduro is doing 2 triathlons back to back!) I also got to meet and get some pointers off my heroes; GBR elites, Non Stanford and Vicky Holland.

We are looking for two more athletes to join the scheme. If you are an up-and-coming triathlete with aspirations to hit the top in the sport, please drop an email to dave@do3.co.uk explaining why you think you have what it takes. We will collate the emails and be in touch!
